There are scheming, moustache twirling villains like Cao Cao or Dong Zhuo, and, my favorite, the hilariously fickle Lu Bu. There’s the three heroic sworn brothers: Liu Xuande, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei. But even then, once you get a little ways into it, it’s easy to keep track of who’s important, and who isn’t.
